Daybook: terms of service

The service
Daybook reads a Shopify store's orders and locations and shows that store's money for a day or a month on one page, per location. It is a report. It does not write to the store and holds no permission that would let it.
Data protection
For data protection law, the merchant is the controller and Bananafest Destiny is the processor. As processor we agree that we:
- process data only to compute the merchant's figures and show them to that merchant;
- do not request, receive or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses;
- do not sell, share or disclose merchant data to any third party, and use no analytics, advertising or tracking service;
- keep only what the privacy page lists, and delete it as that page says;
- encrypt data in transit;
- tell the merchant without undue delay on becoming aware of a breach affecting them.
Sub-processors: Cloudflare, for hosting and storage. Shopify, as the source of the data and for billing.
Billing
Daybook costs $9 a month after a 14-day free trial, billed through Shopify on the merchant's usual invoice. Cancelling is done in the Shopify admin. We do not handle card details.
Accuracy
Daybook computes its figures from the orders Shopify returns for the store. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and the merchant remains responsible for their books and filings. Where Daybook's figure and the Shopify admin's differ, tell us and we will explain or correct the difference.
Availability and termination
The service is provided as it is, without a warranty of uninterrupted availability. A merchant may uninstall at any time, which ends these terms. We may end the service for non-payment or misuse, with notice where practical.
